Madrone offers the services of a team of professionals in the fields of natural hazard assessment and terrain stability mapping for land development, forestry and mining. We also offer soil analysis and land capability studies for agriculture, forestry, and mining. We advise our clients on how to minimize the impacts of logging or road building on the environment, and help them meet current standards specified in applicable laws and regulations.

Madrone offers a full range of consulting services in hydrology. Its engineers and geoscientists report on such parameters as flooding, low flows, water quality, sediment regimes, and channel stability for surface water courses. Mapping and advisory services can also focus on erosion hazards from such potential sediment sources as gullies, landslides, and debris flows.

Madrone's staff has the scientific knowledge and practical experience to assess the potential impacts on watersheds and streamside environments from land development and natural resource extraction, and can design workable and cost-effective solutions for the rehabilitation of damaged areas.

Madrone also offers the investigations and analyses needed for Coastal Watershed Assessments (CWAP) and Interior Watershed Assessments (IWAP), which are required by BC regulatory agencies prior to themcommencement of certain developments.
